Responsibilities
During my internship, I was taught by doing and not observing. I was actively involved in high priority, big ticking items for the group from day 1.
Support & Guidance
I had a wide range of support, I had a mentor outside my primary team, I had my line manager always guiding me. I was also allocated one of the grads as a buddy to guide me through the way.
Culture
Despite coming from an under represented background, I was accepted as the culture within Lloyds Banking Group is really great. People diversity in origin and competence.
Your Impressions
I have had more career clarity after my time at Lloyds banking group, do I know what will be next? Just maybe or not! But I'm open to continuous learning, conquering new frontiers, daring to dream and try each passing day to achieve them, enjoying each experience to the fullest. I won't trade this experience for anything in the world.
