Overview
Within this role you are working alongside a driven team as collectively you push towards a monthly sales target. On a day-to-day basis you are communicating with prospective customers and managing them to build up leads. You will have to manage your own pipeline, generate leads yourself through telemarking and manage marketing campaigns.
Skills
Skills that I have been developed include: Time Management, Communication and Leadership Skills through out my 13 month placement. These skills has improved my confidence and helped me develop inside but also outside the work place. This has put me in an excellent position for future job roles and career aspirations.
Responsibilities
You are given lots of responsibilities through out this 13 month placement. By managing pipelines, having personal calls with customers and performing demonstrations.
Support & Guidance
Initially all placements are given a lot of guidance and support as you get too grips with the ProspectCRM software and understand the business as a whole. Throughout my placement there has always been people to contact and ask questions. The sales team is extremely close group and everyone is always willing to go the extra mile to help a peer!
Culture
Everyone at ProspectSoft is extremely welcoming and approachable. This in return has generated a friendly and positive atmosphere. Over the 13 months we have had a couple work socials such as, crazy golf, team meals, Christmas Do and a boat trip on The Thames.
Your Impressions
Over the last 13 months I have really enjoyed my placement. The company as a whole has been extremely welcoming and are overall good eggs! On a smaller scale the togetherness within the sales team made the full experience truly enjoyable.
Yes
Make sure you know what CRM stands for! Prior to applying make sure you have conducted some research on ProspectSoft and the industry it operates in. I found the application process extremely efficient and well run. Go into the interviews etc prepared and you will smash it!
