Overview
Day to day I have undertaken work set by my placement manager in corporate and commercial coverage and have shadowed many business areas.
Skills
I have developed my networking skills as I have reached out to many people across the business. I have also developed my communication skills through regular chats with colleagues about their work.
Responsibilities
Yes I was given the responsibility to interact with customers and handle sensitive information.
Support & Guidance
I received very strong support from my line manager as well as from my graduate buddy. They have remained engaged throughout and have introduced me to many new connections.
Culture
NatWest is very supportive of learning across the different business areas. Most people are happy to chat about their work and share their contacts.
Your Impressions
I loved my internship and the people who I made contacts with. I have learnt lots about how to network in the industry and found the work really enjoyable.
Yes
