Overview
Working within the commercial banking, you can expect to have a mixture of desk work and customer relations through client meetings - Zoom and Face to Face.
Skills
Excel work is not too daunting and easy to get your head around, especially with the team around you. I find that my customer management, decision making and critical thinking skills came in handy more than anything.
Responsibilities
You are required to complete the tasks of a usual relationship manager - completing emails and letters to clients along with keep up to date with other members of the teams in performance. However, they don't feel like responsibilities, more so just tasks and your name is never on anything of paramount importance.
Support & Guidance
A lot of support and guidance, both from my current team and other colleagues in and around the bank. Everyone is easy to get hold of and can be there to help you if you need it
Culture
