Overview
Working on data systems like StreamSets, Hadoop, Tableau and general activities on Microsoft office for presentations and reports.
Skills
I've developed my coding skills (in Python, SQL and Tableau) and developed my interpersonal skills through the intern-project activities alongside.
Responsibilities
Yes, I was allowed to work on a business project with fellow interns and given creative licence to work on my own project within my placement work.
Support & Guidance
I had a line manager and an assigned buddy in the team which gave me both managerial direction and help in day-to-day queries like finding sites or links or training documents that would be inappropriate to ask a manager about.
Culture
NatWest is both socially responsible and also focuses on its employees although sometimes I felt some of my team members were over-worked.
