The Role
Was difficult as manager barely came into the office and rest of the team were in another IBM location.
I had to go and find extra work. Luckily for marketing students there is a Marketing community where you can request extra work in different areas.

The Culture
IBM Bedfont has around 60 students? This will change over the years but very close to SouthBank and so it's easy to meet with them too.
Rent is better than in Oxford area - currently paying £310 each (apart from one paying less) for a house with 5 other people.
Mainly go out to London Kingston or Windsor. Life in Staines/Feltham/Ashford isn't too great - a few good pubs and restaurants though.
Yes, people got involved in a football tournament, plenty of gyms around, London is very close. Lots of charity work you can do with IBM eg. science days with schools or reading to younger children.
