Overview
Testing and feeding back on new processes and systems, creating training materials for these new processes, creating an Excel-based project tracker to track progress across markets. Attending meetings with colleagues across teams.
Skills
Microsoft office proficiency (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Written and verbal communication. Understanding of the AML space.
Responsibilities
The right amount. I was not throw in at the deep end, but was allowed to take ownership of projects from day one which saw results by the end.

A great deal, between my team leader, buddy, campus recruitment, and CSBS recruitment teams.
Culture

Your Impressions
I enjoyed my first foray into the world of business and felt proud to work for Amex. In addition, I had an enjoyable social time with fellow interns. I would have preferred a slightly more people-focused role, but overall I enjoyed my placement.
