Overview
I working in Existing Customer Management within Unsecured Lending, so effectively I am involved in Credit Card Rewards. As part of my placement I provided data analysis to look at where the company could improve, and provided marketing material, that acted as both a staff and customer resource. I also liaised with internal and external stakeholders.
Skills
Developed my technical (excel), communication, creativity, teamwork skills
Responsibilities
Yes, I was tasked with lots of responsibility, including vital analysis which would drive future decisions, as well as liaising with external stakeholders on my own.
Support & Guidance
There were numerous people I could turn to if struggling. My line manager was very supportive anyway, but I still had a GradCoach who was always happy to help. Overall, HSBC had a very supportive and inclusive environment.
Culture
Numerous opportunities to get involved in the culture outside the standard 9-5. ERG's are great to be a part of and are the backbone of the inclusiveness. By getting involved in stuff to support them, it provides development opportunities.
