Overview
There were sessions on the various sectors in BDO, tips for building Linkedin pages, a project, tips and hints on applying, mentoring sessions etc.
Skills
I have developed my personal brand and elevator pitch, it was incredibly helpful for expressing qualities about myself I was not previously aware of.
Business Insight
It was very enlightening, it really helped to delve into the parts of the various roles that couldn't necessarily be found online such as personal thoughts and feelings.
Culture
It seemed incredibly social, everyone seemed to genuinely care about building each other up, it's not just a company slogan.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it a lot, I would definitely do this again. It surpassed my expectations, despite being online, I still felt like there was a connection there.
Yes
I would say really focus on what makes you you, don't try and use cliches or general anecdotes. Be yourself and be specific.
