The Role
I haven't worked at similar companies so I don't have much to compare it with, but I'm pretty sure not many companies come close to this.
Great colleagues. I find it slightly difficult to chat to people in the office for whatever reason, but there are plenty of social events to get to know people better and those really helped.
Day-to-day: fantastic. Long-term: less good, but it would have been better had I taken more initiative to ask for more guidance.
I was not bored most of the time, but would probably prefer to be busier than I was.
Though I guess this is an appropriate amount for my level of experience.
Even if I don't come back to work here, I've had a great start to learning programming. I enjoyed it very much and I'm certain I will use these skills and develop them further at some point in my future career.
The Company
Great atmosphere - excellent balance of working hard and taking the job very seriously, and a friendly relaxed atmosphere.
Could have had a bit more training, but I was a bit of a last-minute entry so I think I missed out on some things. I think I still could have joined in with the training anyway, don't know what happened there.
Although they have a really strong emphasis on personal development, they left it up to me to get on with it. I would have appreciated being pushed a little more.

Working from home
I've been offered a job! I'm keen to stay on, but I have another commitment over the summer that I have to fulfil first before I can confirm my decision.
The Culture
Good social scene across the company, it's a very small company so there isn't a divide between permanents / interns.
Most of the social events were subsidized.
Great pubs, didn't go for much other nightlife.
Endless. If something didn't exist, you could organise it yourself.
