Overview
We were exposed to talks from the Sales & Analytics and Global Data divisions from professionals in the field, as well as doing exercises simulating how a job in our chosen division would be in reality. We also experienced several networking and Q&A sessions with former insight-weekers and Team Leaders, which was very insightful. We had to complete a group project which we then presented to Team Leaders and our cohort at the end of the week.
Skills
I have learned how to use the Terminal more efficiently, after receiving multiple sessions on how to utilise functions, as well as completing phantom exercises showing us how the Terminal Helpdesk works. I have learned how to be more proactive and reach out to individuals more efficiently, and have made some great connections whilst here.
Business Insight
Very interesting, I was exposed to Global Data, which is a department I never considered before as I imagined it to be much more coding-oriented. However, I am now considering both divisions in my application to the Summer internship.
Culture
Amazing. Everyone at Bloomberg is so happy to help and open to speak to you, no matter how busy you are.

I loved it, the office is amazing and everyone was so lovely.

Be confident, and know your stuff when it comes to finance, because you need to have the passion for it.
