The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement at GSK. Its a really good company to work for and the working environment is great.
I feel that my colleagues did value me, but not as much as I'd like. I think that mainly down to not knowing that much about the department though.
The support and guidance given by my supervisor wasn't great which meant I didn't get as much as I could out of the placement.
I feel that the amount of work that I had was manageable but could of done with a bit more.
I was giving a fair bit of responsibility for example I was left to manage a project.
I feel I picked up a few skill that will help me in the future, for example being able to manage my time better.
The Company
The atmosphere in the office was great and we were always having a laugh.
The set up of the placement was fine and went without any problems.
GSK are more than willing to invest in you by sending you on training courses and letting you do e-learning courses.

Working from home
You get a good chance of going back to GSK when you have done a placement with them.
The Culture
When on placement we went out at least twice a month.
The cost of living wasn't to bad. The only thing that was expensive was rent.
There wasn't much nightlife in the area, but you didn't have to travel far to find some.
Most of the time there was always something happening outside of work.
