    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • This role involves dealing with customers on a daily basis both in person and over the phone. It does involve some driving where you might have to meet customers to supply them with a replacement vehicle. It also involves selling additional services which you will learn over time as you progress throughout your experience. It is a great job that offers a lot of opportunity for progression and to further develop your skills and also learn new ones.

  • throughout my time here I have been able to further develop existing skills such as time management, customer service and communication by dealing with a range of different people every day and learning from them. I have also been able to develop some sales skills on my journey by shadowing my colleagues and learning the different techniques to use.

  • Throughout my internship I have been given lots of responsibility to deal with customers both over the phone and in person as well as a range of different tasks that we have had to complete throughout my time here.

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • Throughout my placement I have received a lot of guidance from my colleagues on how I can progress in my career and things that will help me improve on my skills. As all my colleagues have started in a similar position to me they have been able to help me a lot when settling in and getting a grasp of how the business works and the different tasks we complete on a daily basis. All the support I have received throughout my time here will help me greatly as I move forward in my career and i am very thankful for this oppurtunity.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Before i started i knew that enterprise culture was heavily focused on customers and employees. From the very start i could see this was evident as customers are key to the business and the staff dealing with them are also so important. Since i have started the atmosphere in every branch i have been in has been great and there is never a dual moment.

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • I have enjoyed my time at enterprise very much the experience has been great. From my first day I met the CEO of enterprise in Ireland and got to ask him questions about his career path and how he could help me. this was a great opportunity which i don't think you would get in many other places. this job offers so much opportunity to progress and everyone within the business does everything they can to help you throughout your development.

  • Don't be put off by the idea of having to deal with customers, there is so much opportunity to progress and go down other streams and makes for a great career path in many different areas
