Overview
Analysing data or errors or peculiarities. Breaking down data further to make it more digestible or allows a closer look into areas. Estimating cost of goods sold by using costs to transport and package goods all the way through until the consumer has the product.
Skills
Learnt how to use new software such as SAP. Also developing on Excel skill using pivot tables and power query. Improving communication skills and time management. Building relationships with people within finance and around the business.
Responsibilities
I was given real responsibility but also supported and given advice when required.
Support & Guidance
There is a very good support network at Centrica. All interns are re-assured consistently to seek help or advice if needed both inside and outside of work.
Culture
A very supportive culture with a lot of guidance and direction given. Everyone is happy to help with queries and also engage with explaining with what they do in their role or any other questions.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my internship. The role itself was really interesting with real responsibility. Outside of the role there are also socials and everyone is very welcoming.
