Overview
I worked as part of the rental branch in Oxford. I was part of the team checking customers in and out of their rental cars, aiming to sell additional products to boost my personal sales.
Skills
I have learnt a variety of new skills such as sales and relationship building. I did also improve on my customer service, team work, communication and resilience skills which I can use throughout my future career.
Responsibilities
I was given a variety of different responsibilities which increased as my knowledge improved. I was allocated the job of tracking our customer service levels in the branch, collecting any debt owed from corporate customers monthly and suggesting ways in which the branch could improve the revenue.
Support & Guidance
I had multiple training sessions throughout my internship both on teams calls and in person in the branch which helped me to grow my knowledge on the business.
Culture
The company had an inclusive atmosphere which made it a friendly company to work for. Within the branches we had multiple social events celebrating successes and bonded as a team.

I enjoyed my placement as it taught me a variety of life skills and allowed me to build my confidence.
