Overview
I had the opportunity of working working within several departments in HR. The main areas that I worked in was recruitment, talent and general HR.
Skills
I have developed a wide set of skills within my placement such as communication, it , public speaking and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
Yes especially whilst working in recruitment. I was in charge of internal vacancies and was responsible for recruiting the candidate from start to finish.
Support & Guidance
I received a large amount of support during my placement. The main source of support was from my manager and the talent and development team where we had monthly calls to set objectives and give feedback.
Culture
Welcoming atmosphere where anyone is willing to help. Tata steel feels like a community.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement and would love to go back and work at Tata after I have finished university.
