Overview
Worked with technologies like Java, Spring Boot, DynamoDB, EKS, Terraform, AWS CLI
Skills
Yes, most of the tasks I was assigned I had no prior experience in, so I got to learn many new technical skills. The manager and other employees were really supportive and willing to help me learn.
Responsibilities
I would say medium amount of responsibility, I was in charge of the tasks assigned to me, but was always supervised and was not expected to carry out any tasks without guidance. Also there were no hard deadlines for the project, so didn't have to carry out many large scale presentations, apart from one which was mandatory for all interns.
Support & Guidance
A lot
Culture
Very inclusive, everyone was willing to help, everyone was friendly. In general I would say it was pretty relaxed, nobody was rushing us to do anything, there was more focus on our learning and understanding rather than the completion of tasks.
