Overview
My role consisted of internal and external tasks. My internal role was acting as a co-lead for a weekly Newsletter which was sent to over 15,000 people. My external role involved working with clients such as Currys, Lloyds and SALT. Here I conducted market research, presented back to clients, took part in client facing workshops and was introduced to testing, the product lifecycle and NPS Surveys
Skills
I have drastically developed my presentation, organisation and networking skills. I have developed new skills, such as Microsoft office platforms, illustrator and general design work.
Responsibilities
I was delegated a huge amount of responsibility. For example, I acted as project manager in various roles, I was in charge of a weekly Newsletter distributed to 15,000 people and was given numerous tasks with strict deadlines.
Support & Guidance
I always felt confident to reach out to anyone in IBM and ask for help. The culture is second-to-none and really felt at home during my placement.
Culture
The culture at IBM is amazing. Every person I met was friendly, and willing to help even if the work would not benefit them in the slightest. I received countless positive feedbacks from colleagues. The office environment was laid back and friendly, and there is free coffee!

Apply to IBM! They have many roles for all different skill sets, and the recruitment process, despite being somewhat strenuous, is a great experience all round.
