Overview
Day to day work has good variety. Usually a mix of on site visits (to survey buildings or check on project progress), general office work, and calls or meetings.
Skills
My communication skills have definitely developed, dealing with high profile clients and being on site definitely has helped. Also my excel skills as I have done quite a bit of work in excel, although nothing too challenging.
Responsibilities
Yes, I have had the opportunity to visit sites alone to complete tasks and have definitely had responsibility with tasks or calculations that are significant and not unimportant.
Support & Guidance
A good amount. Savills seems to allow employees to be very independent with how they manage their own work, which I liked. But also I was definitely given enough information to complete tasks and always felt totally comfortable with asking for help.
Culture
Very good. The team are all great and my experience has been totally positive, everyone was there to help and more than happy to. There is a range of different levels of experience on the team and I felt I could go to anyone.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my time at savills, it flew by and was a great experience which exposed me to a variety of different aspects within the industry.
