Overview
On a day to day basis I would use the tools previously taught to me to design and research the best infrastructure to use for our application. I would propose my ideas and once they were approved I would be tasked with the building and configuration of the infrastructure using tools such as terraform and flux.
Skills
I have learn about the many services and benefits of cloud computing. I have also increased my knowledge on cyber security and networking data systems. Finally I have a greater understanding of how to provision data systems using IAC and other devops tools such as docker.
Responsibilities
I was given tasks to build infrastructure to be used in actual projects and therefore I was given a substantial amount of responsibility.
Support & Guidance
The seinor staff were very helpful and always provided their insight in my work and my issues but also provided advice with my career, education and future endevours.
Culture
The team had a great atmosphere of supporting and learning from each other which allowed me to develop faster. In addition they were very welcoming and allowed me to fit in the team quickly.
Your Impressions
I had a very enjoyable time at my internship. The support given to me allowed me to learn effectively and also not feel extremely pressured on my assignments making the experience even more positive.
