Overview
I interned within Centrica's Hive - a smart home solution and services company. Throughout the 9 weeks, I delivered competitor analyses and developed customer surveys. We had weekly stand ups to catch up with our team and update our progress on projects.
Skills
Greater commercial awareness, project & time management, excel skills, presentation skills, research abilities to name a few.
Responsibilities
Yes, with projects that directly impact the business.
Support & Guidance
A lot. We are assigned to a manager that gives us a project, a buddy who is an employee on the graduate scheme, and a group chat with the other interns in our stream with our leader.
Culture
Very caring, approachable, open-minded, and supportive environment.
Your Impressions
Very much so, what made it hard was having it fully remote. It would be nice if we were asked whether we wanted a fully remote or hybrid work.
Yes
Don't be afraid to throw yourself into the business and network with others.
