Overview
Understanding stakeholder requirements and helping design strategies and solutions to undertake projects. I would work on projects such as report writing, as well as working in different divisions, such as HR and Business Analysis. I would bring people together from different teams to optimise the completion of projects.
Skills
I have learned how to react to change due to changing stakeholder requirements, as well as improve my perseverance since I am required to contact as many stakeholders as possible. My collaboration skills have also improved because I have been in constant networking and require unique perspectives to complete my projects.
Responsibilities
I was given a lot of responsibility because I had to write a report for an external stakeholder, and then redesign the assessment centre process for future candidates, meaning my work left a lasting legacy.
Support & Guidance
I received good support and guidance, however, it may have been better to have more frequent meetings with people close, such as a line manager, since this would have accelerated my learning.
Culture
The company culture and general atmosphere was excellent, since anybody I needed to contact was very happy to help me and guide me to learning more skills.
Your Impressions
I found it very enjoyable, especially when I was in office working. However, I was not as large a fan of remote working, since I found that it was harder to network and form meaningful relationships with those in my team.
Yes
Try your best to get stuck in and involved, because there are lots of opportunities. This is despite the fact that it is very easy to stay in your shell, especially due to the remote working environment. However, by networking and contacting as much as possible, it is possible to learn a lot and make a strong impact.
