Overview
Investment banking summer analyst. Preparing materials for the seniors to make pitches, the deal process...
Skills
I have largely developed my knowledge of the financial industry and the capital markets. I have become more confident with my Excel and PowerPoint skills and improved my communication skills.
Responsibilities
I was given some responsibility during the internship, leaving me space to work how I would do it better. My work would always be reviewed by an analyst / associate.
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of support and guidance from my team when it comes to my learning and my tasks.
Culture
The culture was very nice. Everyone was very hardworking, however the needs and wishes of all individuals were respected. All the seniors were very approachable.
Your Impressions
I largely enjoyed my internship here. I had the opportunity to learn about the industry and expand my knowledge, as well as meet and network with many individuals. The intern class was incredibly nice and helpful with each other and we got the appropriate guidance.
Yes
Try to find what motivates you to work for UBS and what strengths can you bring to the company. It may not be the n1 IB, but the work culture is very nice and you still get exposure to incredible deals. Try to network with individuals of the firm to get to know it better.
