Overview
Get in and attend meetings and make notes. Shadow people, prepare presentations, build excel models, research countries.
Skills
Excel has improved lots, learnt how to use bloomberg.
Responsibilities
I helped put together important materials, but generally with someoone overseeing me, would never really have direct exposure to responsibility.
Support & Guidance
A lot, lots of seminars about technicals, resources to read, training sessions, time with managers etc...
Culture
Very inclusive, you felt as if they wanted you to do well.
Your Impressions
Really enjoyed it, very very hard work and sometimes stressful but fun and was surrounded by great people.
Yes
Apply early, prepare hard for your interview, be keen, remember they are judging you on your person and your knowledge but don't forget the former. They have to like you, so show some personality, be happy etc..
