Overview
Recovered the company´s costs on the claims. Reviewed damage claims and assessed collection strategies. Negotiated with individuals and insurance companies. Interpreted loss data in order to establish settlement needs, and if the claim is valid and/or if the claim needs to be closed.
Skills
Communication skills with customers/individuals and insurance companies. Negotiation skills. Excel skills have improved. Knowledge of credit hire and claims management.
Responsibilities
Yes, I had a lot of responsibility. I was treated like other employees, who have worked in the same role way longer than me.
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of support when I started, but it gradually decreased as I got used to my role and knew what I need to do. I was supported by my manager and other team members throughout my placement year.
Culture
The company culture and general atmosphere were really good. From time to time we had a bit of fun in addition to just working all the time.

Do not be afraid to apply to different roles within Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Many employees change their roles within the company after a few years. There are so many different positions and opportunities available.
