Overview
Working on a pre-assigned project as part of a team making use of Agile methodologies. Team size of about 10. Training given on a variety of technologies. Demo projects to other teams.
Skills
Frontend development, dependency management, using Agile and Scrum methodologies, using Spring
Responsibilities
Pretty high amount of responsibility due to working on an important project to a team in a large codebase. Was well explained the impact the project would have on the buisness.
Support & Guidance
Someone was always available to help and two mentors were assigned. Line manager friendly and welcoming and rest of team very helpful.
Culture
Friendly and welcoming but hard working and dedicated.

I enjoyed it quite a lot due to completing meaningful work and being made to feel at home.

Don't worry about feeling out of your depth at the beginning. Training is provided and everyone is very understanding.
