Overview
Advising companies on key financial decisions such as M&A and different types of financing. You work a lot on generating marketing material and therefore work a lot with excel and powerpoint.
Skills
Your overall knowledge of the industry you cover enhances greatly. You also rapidly improve your analytical skills and learn how to work with excel properly. Your overall knowledge of finance improves greatly
Responsibilities
Yes, you are given important tasks which will then be sent over to clients. The work you do is meaningful and important but you are supervised at all times.
Support & Guidance
Endless support and guidance from your team, senior and junior members. Everyone wants you to learn and the atmosphere is great. HR was also really helpful and organized an array of events to get to know everyone in the bank.

Lovely culture, surrounded by hard working and interesting people. People really want you to thrive and learn.
Your Impressions
I absolutely loved it. A deep learning curve into the world of IBD, very hard and intense, but totally worth it. The skills and knowledge you gain are endless and you meet really interesting people.
