We got buddies who were very close to us in age so they were very helpful. Audit work is done in teams and everyone from assistant manager to partner is very warm, eager to help and conversational.
Culture
The people are really kind and patient, you won't feel silly for asking many questions. There are monthly drinks for the audit department, and several charity opportunities. There are networks for minorities, LGBTQ+, pet lovers etc. We actually got to attend a tree-planting initiative in the local area during the internship. There are weekly quizzes and prizes for the best houses!
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed the work when the tasks became more complex and required me to apply some of my knowledge. The teams I was on were really friendly and helpful! Everyone is super hardworking and they really look forward to working here. It met my expectations and would go back if I got the chance.

Make sure you research the company's values and how they align with your own values. Talk about your own passion for the role you are applying for. For the assessment centre: keep your eye on the time, and learn how to do a SWOT analysis. For day one, ask questions! everyone knows you are new to audit so don't be afraid.
