Overview
Day-to-day basis: - Workshops and networking sessions - Spotlight sessions - Own networking - Working on a client project, researching and producing final deliverables to a real client problem
Skills
Definitely: - relationship building, analytics, networking skills, presenting skills and team-work skills - internal training modules (TQ [technology training] and ethics & compliance) - learnt how to work on a project in a tight-time line and ensuring the client's needs are tailored to and met
Business Insight
Amazing - everyone in the company is so easy to reach out to and talk to - they really do care about their people so no matter who you speak to they are all really happy to set time aside in their diary to talk to you about their role / general experience at Accenture Was extremely insightful - came out of the internship ten-folding my knowledge about the company and its values in action
Culture
- A very healthy, positive and inclusive working environment - A lot of time and money and effort is put into the socials, we had 2 socials and they were really enjoyable - Accenture does loads to better not only the company but the world surrounding us (development partnerships, mental health allies, sustainability initiatives etc..) - The cohort for the internship was incredibly diverse
Your Impressions
I genuinely loved every minute of the insight, so much time and effort was put into it and that was obvious from the first day. I am sad it has come to an end and I am really motivated to come back. It has exceeded my expectations. Everyone is so nice and it is a great place to work.
Yes
- be yourself! - network network network (before, during and after the internship) - do not be nervous, everyone is so nice from the assessment centre to the internship itself - be confident in your unique skills
