Overview
Audit: Performing tests of details and tests of controls following guidelines require by accounts requirements ABA: Production of accounts, checking the balances are correct, and then querying with client where any balances don't look correct
Skills
Many!! IT Skills, Excel competency, Communication, Teamwork, analytical skills, confidence
Responsibilities
Far more than you would ever dream to guess! You're trained on the job but ultimately you're trusted to complete work and speak to client as and when necessary.
Support & Guidance
Plenty of support. There is a structure in place that frees up supervisors to provide day to day support
Culture
Brilliant on the most part. Yes, there can be times of stress, but ultimately, everyone is supportive and wants each other to succeed. There isn't any competitiveness within the firm, which is great to see and a USP of not working for Big 4
Your Impressions
Loved every moment. The people you work with, really make the firm what it is and I would highly recommend the placement to absolutely everyone!
Yes
Be yourself in the interview process, although obviously research what the firm is about and its core values. Additionally, don't apply thinking you're in for an easy ride. It is hard work, but good work and a good experience
