Overview
I was tasked with various projects which had to do mainly with competition and possible strategies necessary for the company to overcome any competition. My day-to-day schedule was based on assigned work.
Skills
Team work was a huge skill necessary to work at CityFibre as most of the projects forced other individuals to offer some help on the project.
Responsibilities
No, a lot of the time I would go without work. I knew the company had bigger issues to overcome which took a lot more of my teams time so I wasn't too worried about it but felt like I could have had more work assigned to me.
Support & Guidance
A big thing CityFibre offers is guidance and support throughout your work experience. I was put in the strategy team and met some very friendly people who were nothing but supportive throughout my time there which really livened up the work atmosphere.
Culture
When I would ask for help there was never any worry about that and I was always given the tools necessary to do my work. Everyone was super welcoming and offered their support.
Your Impressions
While I had a great time meeting everyone, and the work I did was honestly enjoyable, I lacked responsibilities during the internship and therefor didn't have much work which made the work experience less enjoyable.
Yes
I would say that the work there is fun and the enviroment in the office is super productive and offers great support for your time there but ask for more work from your line manager and offer help to your team if you feel like you aren't being worked hard enough
