Overview
- preparing presentations in PPT - running analyses in XLS - taking notes in calls - respond to immediate tasks if urgent - conducting research on certain topics if requried
Skills
- refined XLS skills - improved networking and interpersonal skills - gathered insights about new sectors
Responsibilities
- due to my pre-experience, I was given a lot of responsibility (i.e. essentially treated as a full-time analyst) - sent materials to senior MDs - conducted analyses directly for a director
Support & Guidance
- lots of guidance received - biweekly meetings with a designated development officer - buddy program allowed for conversation on a more personal level - EMEA recruiting office always helpful in case of questions
Culture
- culture was very collegial - lots of team events and networking drinks - everyone was helpful and made sure you have a good experience

- enjoyed it very much - great mix of actual work assignments and socializing/networking events - constant support from HR, DO, and buddy

- prepare thoroughly for the interviews - have a genuine interest in finance - know whats going on in the markets - just do it
