Overview
Everyday at Enterprise Rent a Car is completely different, I have yet to have two days similiar. I contact customers that have reservations with ourselves and arrange times and places to meet with them depending on the type of reservation it is they have with us. I try and plan trips and drops so that it makes the most sense for us and we're not making any unnecessary trips. I deal with employees in other branches so that we can co-ordinate deals if it suits better for one branch to do it. I help resolve any issues that any customer may have.
Skills
I have developed lots of skills during my time with Enterprise. I have become a lot more confident in myself. My decision making has improved a sight also, I often find myself in situations that i need to think on my feet and i feel that i have greatly benefitted from this. This will also translate to my personal life too. I feel i have become much more punctual as a result of working for Enterprise also as time is such a big deal in the area we operate in. I have learnt that customer service is vital and that it is so important to carry out great customer service every single time with every single customer.
Responsibilities
I feel I was given a lot of responsibility all throughout my placement and it prompted me to use my own initiative at all times. I have been tasked with such roles as contacting customers to confirm times of reservations, callbacks and payments. I was also given the the responsibility of getting in at least two corporate leads in per month, this meaning any business with a use for vehicles on a regular base was passed onto the corporate team to contact.
Support & Guidance
I received great guidance all throughout my placement. From colleagues right up to area manager, at no time did I feel that I could not ask a question no matter how stupid it might of seemed. All training was completed with myself and was always explained very well. I always received a very open arm support and was always encouraged to progress on with training.
Culture
Enterprise made me feel as if i was part of a big family as i always felt very included. From social events to everyday office, it was always very connected. I feel Enterprise is very with the times and including, such as celebrating Pride day in the branch last month.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my placement and I can't fault it all. I am delighted that i got the opportunity to work for Enterprise and I am looking forward to returning after college. It exceeded my expectactions. The company culture is very refreshing.
