Overview
Creation of Power Point presentations, company profiles, financial models and valuations, organization charts, review materials, research materials
Skills
I have developed my Excel skills and Power Point skills a lot. I have also learned a lot about the financial sector and about accounting specifics, other than knowledge about the investment banking industry
Responsibilities
I do think we had much responsibility: having deadlines and people expecting you to do your work because it's going to be instrumental to other people's jobs and to clients teaches you a lot
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of support and guidance during the internship - everyone who worked with me was available to explain things very clearly, and willing to talk and get to know me or help me if I had an issue
Culture
The company culture is objectively very good, especially if you're in the finance field - people are approachable and polite, and you feel welcomed in the team
Your Impressions
I enjoyed my internship a lot - I got the opportunity to meet many interesting people and have interesting conversations with them, I developed my skills a lot and made new friends
Yes
Be a well rounded person. Your technical side needs to be strong, but you also need to be able to hold meaningful conversations and be there for the people in your team: show passion in general, both for finance and for your hobbies and your aspirations, and always try to have a positive attitude
