Overview
Working within a divisional team within Technology, Data & Innovation on a real-world project set by the manager of the team throughout the internship. Gaining insights into the bank and it's position in the financial industry with events setup by the early careers team. Additionally, collaborating with other interns to produce a project based on a brief set by a member of TDI.
Skills
- Networking with other interns and more senior members of the bank - Technical skills including Angular, Plotly Dash, and GCP - Project management skills including Jira and Confluence
Responsibilities
Given responsibility to produce work independently and report this back to a manager, improving on any feedback given.
Support & Guidance
Given a buddy who has recently joined the bank as a support for any queries, additionally many events are help throughout the internship to support development of soft and technical skills.
Culture
Amazing culture, found that you can mostly go up to anyone in the bank and they will be willing to support you and provide you guidance where applicable.

Thoroughly enjoyed the internship as it included many opportunities for skill development and networking.
