Overview
As an intern on the sales and trading desk I was responsible for supporting the team while shadowing and learning. My daily tasks included writing market commentaries, conducting researches on industry and companies and automating processes
Skills
Technical skills, VBA programming skills, time management skills and problem solving
Responsibilities
I was not given much responsibility during my internship as I was not able to perform any trading strategies. I had to own my own project and prepare some decks for the wider team discussions or internal teach ins which allowed me to add value to the team

I was paired with a buddy who has been supportive and helpful when needed
Culture
the company has a great supportive culture with enjoyable people
