Overview
My role consists of managing market account (lodging) and working on a project over the 10 weeks
Skills
Team work, presenting, management, sales
Responsibilities
I was given enough responsibility to push myself out of my comfort zone. I was also given a lot of room to be creative with not only the job, but style of working- especially with a hybrid work setting. By doing so, Expedia gave me room to grow, but also a helping hand to develop my skills.
Support & Guidance
I was given as much guidance as I needed. Nobody was breathing down my neck to get things done, but also everybody was able to give me guidance if needed.
Culture
The company culture was one of the best things about EG. They promote diversity, celebrate different cultures and welcome creativity. The work life balance was encouraged actively, through events, lunches, evening celebrations, wellness bonuses, as well as the most amazing work place in the London office.
Your Impressions
This was by far the most enjoyable I have ever taken part in, from start to finish, there was consistency in all aspects of the job as well as social activities.
Yes
Be yourself. Everybody says this, but here at EG it is truly celebrated.
