Overview
Working in the Market Management team (Account Management), managing centralised lodging accounts and helping them to maximise production by optimising their presence across Expedia platforms and improve their search and sort factors. Also worked on a project alongside daily workflow to discover the issues faced by Market Management when contacting partners and suggesting potential solutions to improve the process. Day usually consisted of working through centralised workflow and then working on project, with frequent team meetings.
Skills
No prior experience in Account Management or Sales so developing skills in these areas has been great. Developed client facing skills using a consultative approach to problem solving and helping the partners to optimise their performance on Expedia platforms.
Responsibilities
Yes thrown straight into things, working on the actual workflow and the solutions we created during the project is soon to be implemented
Support & Guidance
Plenty, was difficult as our team was spread out across different offices but always available when needed
Culture
Great work culture, great office, everyone friendly
