Overview
Speaking to underwriters to assess appetite, being involved in meetings as companies present to the underwriters so they can insure their risks.
Skills
Developed client interactions skills, professionalism, being able to navigate broking software as well as many key terms and tricks to use in the industry.
Responsibilities
A lot of responsibility, felt like a member of a team with clear deadlines and tasks to do.
Support & Guidance
A lot of support and guidance, especially from the team as they organised training sessions for me to do.
Culture
Very welcoming and flat structure, higher ups were very approachable.
