Overview
During my day to day I spend my time working through transitions to transfer money between accounts, making up QMRs to help explain what we are doing with money and the plan for the future.
Skills
I've improved my numerical and analytical skills throughout my time on the internship. I greatly improved my presenting skills due to have more exposure to presenting infront of people more often.
Responsibilities
I was often given responsibility to work through tasks alone after being given the instructions on what to do. I was very rarely told I had to work with someone and was encouraged to take responsibility
Support & Guidance
Any time i needed to ask a question or needed help with a task people were always willing to help and give any answers I may need regardless of their seniority within the business.
Culture
Everyone was very welcoming and you never felt anyone was not available to talk to about work or any help you needed. It felt like a very flat structure where anyone and everyone was willing to help even if they were much more senior.
Your Impressions
I had great fun the entire time of my internship and it was great to always be given projects even though I was just an intern. Having that responsibility made me feel much more welcomed and satisfied with a days work.
Yes
Be yourself and make sure to get stuck in and keep asking for work throughout the time as it is a great company to work for.
