Overview
I am involved in implementing and maintaining EMEA pricing strategies. This includes conducting analyses to identify opportunities and risks. I also produce and distribute RMCC reports regularly and I'm involved in Revenue Analyst production tasks, while ensuring the efficient use of Revenue Management systems. The role also focuses on actively managing and contributing to projects that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the RMCC department, reports, and processes.
Skills
From this role, I have learnt about the role of Revenue Management and Pricing and how it contributes to the success of a multinational hospitality company. I also developed many skills along the way, including proficiency with Revenue Management Software, Microsoft Excel, VBA, data analysis, communication, presenting and collaboration.
Responsibilities
I was given a lot of responsibility during my internship. Some of the responsibilities included working on analyses related to product performance in the region, providing recommendations to senior team members based on the insights which the data provides, ensuring the professional use of Revenue Management Systems in alignment with company best practices, and many more.
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of support and guidance during my internship. I had weekly meetings with my line manager to address any questions or concerns, and they are always open to discussion to enhance my professional development and also drive results for the company.
Culture
Very friendly team environment, where colleagues are always willing to help each other. There are also a lot of team building events conducted throughout the year, which was great to be involved in.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed my internship. From this role, I developed many skills, I could learn from experienced team members, and I was able to contribute to a multinational company by working on several different projects.
