Overview
Depending on the team, there are different roles and responsibilities. Usually, I come into the office and work on a deal that I am staffed on. If there is limited work, then I ask the team if there is anything I can do to help. I helped with PowerPoints, market updates, comparables, and more.
Skills
PowerPoint, excel, modeling, market, and general banking knowledge.
Responsibilities
Fair amount. I took the role of an analyst over during a deal while he was on holiday.
Support & Guidance
Depended on the team, but a fair amount if you were proactive about it. Also, lots of training sessions from the different teams.
Culture
Super chill! The dress code can be more casual or professional depending on the day. You can be friends with the people you work with and do not have to be very filtered as long as you maintain respect.
Your Impressions
I loved it. Made life long friends and learned valuable knowledge.
Yes
Learn about the interview process. It is different in different countries.
