The Role
A really great place to work, with a really exciting and un-predictable, challenging job
More often than not I was told when I had done well, but most of the time the credit would be during private conversation's with closer friends
Support was always there when/if needed, never felt like I was on my own
Always busy, but I prefer working hard and it is all down to - you get what you put in.
I had a lot of responsibility, running chambers, covered 2 seperate titled roles and was succesful in both, and seemed to gain me more responsibility as I went on.
Most of this year I have learnt skills that I would easily say will stay with me as life skills, and the experience of working in this kind of business (logisitcs) really opens your eyes to so many different things that you may not have thought of before.
The Company
Many of the people in some of the offices had been around for years - knew what their jobs were and just go on with it. The atmosphere isn't so good when your trying to help implement new things and processes, especially when those staff can be caught out.
It wasn't set-up perfectly, but it was very fluid, and I got asked to move about to the area I was needed most, which was a much bigger benefit for me personally.
I never thought I'd be getting as much of an opportunity as I have done at this company for an Industrial Placement, I have been given a lot of responsibility and have needed to act like a full time member of any team I was in
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
I am reluctant to say that I would love to work at the company again in the same capacity (As a IP or Grad) But I would be very happy to come back and work full tiem for the company. The career progression is clearly there if it's what you want to pursue.
The Culture
I never had a social time with either graduates, but I had some great nights with some of the managers from time to time, there is a great sense of working for each other with most of my colleagues - including having a good time on the way
Lived 30 mins away near my university, was perfect for me
Nothing spectacular - at all
From time to time we would have work nights out, but it was organised by ourselves not often the company
