Overview
I worked directly with an associate, attended various department presentations, and spoke with employees at all levels of the firm. Everything was highly engaging and I found the scheme invaluable for my personal and professional development.
Skills
I developed many legal skills such as drafting, research and proofing. I also got a chance to develop my presentation and teamworking skills during a mock client pitch that was organised by the firm.
Business Insight
Through various presentations and speaking with my Principal / buddies I think I got an excellent insight into the business and the industry, as well as employment opportunities.
Culture
I believe Linklaters is the most diverse and equitable of the City law firms. The culture is extremely collegiate and collaborative.
Your Impressions
My experience was overwhelmingly positive, and I have not had a single bad day.
