  • Worked on a geochemical scientific project- sourced materials and apparatus required, planned the experiment, carried out the experiment and any pre- and post- analysis. Interacted daily with team members to organise the project but mostly worked independently. Interacted with external vendors to characterise specific data, e.g. X ray diffraction. Worked across teams to organise lab setup. Also participated in team calls and events, organising team events as well.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Everyone was very kind and understanding. The company has a strong culture of respect, and my views as an intern were properly heard by everyone. I was taken seriously throughout and my views were given proper consideration and thought. They treated me as an employee, and a full-time team member. Yet it was also fun and casual, and not too corporate.
