Overview
Working on a project within an established team in the company. Also working on a separate project managed by graduates and worked on by them and the interns. There were also organised intern events and sessions (such as talks from senior people in the company).
Skills
Experienced a professional software development environment. Also developed skills such as communication, teamwork, time management, leadership, + much more.
Responsibilities
Lots of responsibility given for both projects. Had to organise and manage myself and work with others on projects meaningful to the company.
Support & Guidance
Lots of support and guidance was made available. We knew our many options for people to go to, and also were encouraged to ask questions.
Culture
A very relaxed but hard-working company culture. They ensure there is a positive attitude to the work, and do not expect working ridiculous hours to achieve results (more of a be effective with your time attitude).
Your Impressions
Enjoyed it lots. I didn't have any expectations going into the internship but they made the experience really enjoyable.
Yes
