Overview
Received an introduction to the bank, talks by key personnel, skills training which developed key competencies, networked in breakout rooms, and worked in a small team to give a presentation on diversity and inclusion.
Skills
Skill sessions have helped develop key competencies. Confidence, presentation, networking, how to sell yourself, communication.
Business Insight
This was clearly presented, and we had sessions and talks from people from different parts of the business, including recent graduates and those who had been through the internship programmes, as well as more experienced personnel. We also had to opportunity to spend time within the business unit we applied to, in my case the Investment Banking arm where we received a talk from the Head of ESG who had decades of experience.
Culture
Very friendly, inclusive, accommodating, and collaborative.
Your Impressions
Very much so, especially for how engaging it was despite being virtual.
Yes
