  • I worked within the ESS department at the Cambridge office. Everyone was extremely welcoming and friendly. Although, the pandemic has changed the ways of working with hybrid gaining popularity, the Cambridge office is great with this, they are very flexible and lots of people try their best to come in most days every week. There is nothing to complain about with the company culture and general atmosphere! Lovely people, inclusive and supporting working environment.

  • 8. What advice would you give to others applying to Mott MacDonald
  • My advice would be that in your application questions demonstrate your willingness to work for the firm, and how you align with the company's values. It is vital to explain your passion for the environmental sector and why this experience would help you with pursuing a career. If you get to the interview stage I would avoid repeating things in your cover letter/application questions too much, show the interviews your knowledge of Motts, their projects that interest you, why you love the environmental sector and what are you hoping to get out of the internship. Don't be scared, they truly are lovely people, so having a lighthearted interview can remove the stress! Good Luck
