Overview
Working in person out of the London office, we were assigned projects that were tailored to our speciality from university. Then had the 10 weeks to get the project advanced and experience what working in BT was like.
Skills
I have learnt a variety of brand new skills, including new programming languages as-well as understanding a new field that was relatively new to me
Responsibilities
I was given a lot of responsibility, it felt like I had just joined the company as a new hire, and I was trusted and felt very respected by everyone around me!
Support & Guidance
I had a line manager I could always contact no matter the situation, aswell as a buddy system being in place of a peer who has joined the previous year who I could always ask any work place questions to.
Culture
The company culture was young (out of uni) and very inviting, was lovely to be invited to social events and always chatting in the office!
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my placement at BT, it was an amazing experience and I hope to continue my career after university with them.
Yes
It is a very difficult journey to get through the interview process and testing, but from your first day, the experience is well worth it!
