Overview
My role involved completing and presenting an intern project. In particular, I was given a proof of concept and the goal was to prove it before the end of the 9 weeks.
Skills
Sure. I've learnt how to develop efficient algorithms using TensorFlow and leveraging his batch processing capabilities. I'm also more fluent in Python now.
Responsibilities
Yes. I felt how important was for my teammates the proof of concept I was given.
Support & Guidance
A lot and from different people inside the firm. My team was full of great developers and engineers that could help me whenever I got stuck but it happened also to speak with people outside my region to solve specific problems.
Culture
Everyone is really friendly and polite. Values like fairness, equality and respect and very important inside the company.
Your Impressions
I can just say that it was the best summer I've ever had.
Yes
Don't underestimate the technology level that you can find in a bank, specifically inside JPMorgan. They work hard to keep up with innovation.
